The media have deemed the third Monday of the year as Blue Monday when we feel at our most fed up. That could be because we put too much expectation in the New Year - New Start jargon!
However, it is a time when we realise we haven't been as brave or committed to change as we believed we could be. We realise our problems are the same. Life is the same. The extra weight we gained hasn't shifted or even shown signs that it might be going anytime soon. Then we take a look at our finances and see we spent way more than we had planned to.
All is not lost and this doesn't have to be a BLUE Monday. Quite the opposite. It is when we feel bad that we take assertive action - or should! Let me show you how.
There comes a time when enough IS enough! Do you need to say 'enough is enough' to your health? To your relationship? To your job? To the way you view life? Which is usually what causes just about all our problems.
Is it time for you to draw a line in the sand? What is the main challenge you are facing that you can associate with YOUR line in the sand? Choose the one that hurts the most and say 'NO MORE - ENOUGH'. Only choose one. Things are achieved one step at a time.
The first thing to do is to stop in your tracks. Don't look at your problems, look at everything you have been doing and all the habits you have created and note down which are serving you and which are hurting you. These are the things causing your problems. The ego won't like you doing this exercise because it wants you to find blame outside of yourself but you must do it if you really want to change and find more fulfillment in your life. You see, the diet, the relationship, the job or your finances are not the problem. You are!
